I was wondering which would be a more popular T20 event... Is it going to be the Indian Premier League or the Champions League?


Both leagues feature International players, and the later ofcourse has some international teams also. Indian Premier League runs for a month or so whereas the Champions League runs for about 10 days. Your thoughts?

ESS to air award function to felicitate T20 players

The highlight of the evening will be the draw of lots to form the two groups for the inaugural edition of the Champions League Twenty20 and the release of the tournament's fixtures. The Champions League Twenty20 will be held at three venues from 3-10 December.

ESS will offer live feeds simultaneously to all channels free of cost of the awards function. This will be aired on 23 October.

BCCI changes Ranji schedule for Champions T20 League

The Ranji Trophy schedule for the 2008-09 season has been altered to prevent a clash of dates with the Champions Twenty20 League, which is scheduled from December 3 to 10. As per the revised fixtures, the third and fourth round matches of the Elite division have been advanced by a day from November 17 and 24 to November 16 and 23 respectively. The dates of the subsequent rounds have also been changed.
