UEFA object to BCCI naming T20 tournament Champions League

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has raised objections to the BCCI calling the Twenty20 tournament it has formulated in co-ordination with Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa as the Champions League.

Champions League Twenty20 is an international tournament featuring the best teams of the domestic Twenty20 tournaments of various nations. The Third edition of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament is scheduled to be played in India from 23 September 2011 to 9 Oct 2011.
