ECB and Indian board agree compromise on Champions League Twenty20 tournament

The England & Wales Cricket Board has won a compromise from the Indian board which will see two county teams participate in the $6 million Champions League Twenty20 tournament, regardless of fielding players with links to the rebel Indian Cricket League.

Champions League Twenty20 is an international tournament featuring the best teams of the domestic Twenty20 tournaments of various nations. The Third edition of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament is scheduled to be played in India from 23 September 2011 to 9 Oct 2011.
