White can be skipper, Shipperd

Cameron White, and not heir apparent Michael Clarke, should succeed Ricky Ponting as the captain of Australia's Twenty20 side, according to Victoria coach Greg Shipperd.

Shipperd has urged national selectors to recommend to the Cricket Australia Board that White be named as Ponting's successor in the Twenty20 format.
