Middlesex pin twenty20 cricket hopes on wildcard entry

Middlesex will consider lobbying Champions League Twenty20 organisers for a wildcard for the 2009 tournament, writes Jon Batham. Seaxes chief executive Vinny Codrington and his team were devastated when organisers decided there wasn't a sufficient window of opportunity to restage the 2008 tournament, originally postponed following the terrorist attacks in Mumbai earlier this month.
