Western Australia, Victoria miss out as Champions League Twenty20 cancelled

THE Mumbai terror attacks have robbed Western Australia and Victoria of the chance to play in the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 tournament.

A teleconference involving Australian, South African and Indian cricket board officials has led to a decision to cancel the first Champions League event, which was to be held in India at the start of December.
