Economic slowdown hits first T20 Champions League

ESPN Star Sports (ESS), which bought broadcast and ground rights of the series from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for $975 million, is now facing problems in getting sponsors for the ground rights and has been forced to slash advertising rates, as per media and advertising sources.
