No ban on Wasim Akram in India

AMIDST RUMOURS that organisers of the upcoming T20 Champions League were pressurised by India to exclude former Pakistani pace ace Wasim Akram from the commentary panel, the Indian government has denied any role in the whole affair.

The government on Monday made it clear they it had not interfered in selection of commentary panel after reports appeared in Pakistan media that Indian government had denied Akram permission to commentate in India.
